Masterstudiengang Online-Kommunikation

The main subjects of the master’s degree Online Communication is carried out by the MOK core team, which consists of the following persons.

Prof. Dr. Daniel Michelis

Professor Daniel Michelis is the initiator of the Master's degree course Online Communication. He is an expert in the strategic use of online communications in NGOs and companies. In recent years, he has been a member of UNICEF's Think Tank Online Communication, a consultant to the Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), and has conducted a variety of NGO projects in online fundraising and social media. For over 10 years he has been supporting companies in the development of digital strategies

Prof. Dr. Hendrik Send

Professor Hendrik Send is the coordinator of this master programme and
Professor at the Department of Economics at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences.
He is also research project manager at the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society. His research focuses on innovation communities and ideas generation on the Internet.
Hendrik Send has two own externally funded research projects currently. In the DFG-funded project Open! he explores platforms for collaborative design of open source objects together with colleagues from the Technical University of Berlin and from the Université de Grenoble. The Innogy Foundation is providing funding for the project Smart Energy User Innovation where we study opportunities of digital user innovation for the energy transition in Germany together with TU Berlin.

Stefan Stumpp

Stefan Stumpp is a research assistant at the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences.
He is a doctoral candidate at the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society with the main research focus on internet-based innovations and crowdsourcing. He is also a lecturer at the Leipzig School of Media.
